Workpressed

Today he was feeling ‘workpressed’. Just out of nowhere he decided to hit us with a new word and then just continue on as if we should all know what he meant. Just casually slipped it into a whatsapp conversation. Workpressed.
But that wasn’t the end of it.
We then get told, “I hate being workpressed. I’d much rather be home impressed.”
So there we have it. ‘Workpressed’ is bad. I’m guessing it is being depressed at work or pressed to do more work than you can actually get done. But tacking the word ‘Impressed’ onto the end of something is good.
We have entered a new world of ‘Pappisms’. You’ve been warned.
